1.   A Diploma in Electrical Engineering obtained from a University/Institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India OR any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the UGC Act, 1956 OR Technical Examination Board OR equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

2.   Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

3.   Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
