GUJARAT SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD (GSSSB) Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification and other details: 

(b) Possess a bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India: or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and approved by Rehabilitation Council of India;

(c) possess about two years experience in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Rehabilitation Council of India/Medical Council of India recognized/approved Government/Local bodies/ Government undertakings/Board/ Corporation/ Limited Company Established under the Companies Act, 2013/ Government Medical college/ Grant in aid Medical College/ Government Hospital/ Public Sector Hospital/ Hospital run by registered trust/ Government Physiotherapy College/ Grant in aid Physiotherapy College/ Government Paraplegia Hospital after obtaining education qualification specified in sub rule(b) above;

(d) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules,1967; and

(e) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

5. The Selected candidate shall be required to get himself registered with the Central Rehabilitation Register of the Rehabilitation Council of India under the Rehabilitation Counsil of India Act 1992 at the time of his appointment, if he is not so registered.

7. The candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to furnish a security and surety bond in such form, for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government.

• Selection will be based on competitive examination through MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) type
• Examination mode: CBRT/OMR (Computer Based Response Test/Optical Mark Recognition)
• Examination will be conducted in two parts: Part-A and Part-B
• Part-A (90 marks): Logical Test & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Mathematical Test (30 marks), Constitution, Current Affairs, English and Gujarati Comprehension (30 marks)
• Part-B (120 marks): Questions related to the concerned subject and its application
• Total Questions: 210 (Part-A: 90 questions, Part-B: 120 questions)
• Total Time: 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Qualifying Standard: Minimum 40% marks required separately in Part-A and Part-B for all categories
• Merit list will be prepared based on total marks/normalized marks obtained
• Candidates double the number of vacancies will be called for certificate verification based on merit
• Final selection list and waiting list will be prepared based on merit and category-wise vacancies
• Level of question paper will be equivalent to educational qualification
