Eligibility Criteria

(b) possess (i) a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or

declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956; and

 (ii) the basic knowledge of computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and

 (iii) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both.

 “ The Candidate shall require to get himself registered with Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapy or Gujarat State Allied and Healthcare Counsil or National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions or its successor as on the date of appointment.”

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• General PwD male: +10 years relaxation
• General PwD female: +15 years relaxation (max 45)

• Reserved PwD female: +20 years relaxation (max 45)

Salary / Stipend

• Initial fixed pay of ₹49,600/- per month for the first 5 years of service.
• After completion of 5 years, salary will be in Level-7 pay scale: ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on competitive examination through MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) type
• Examination mode: CBRT/OMR (Computer Based Response Test/Optical Mark Recognition)
• Examination will be conducted in two parts: Part-A and Part-B
• Part-A (90 marks): Logical Test & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Mathematical Test (30 marks), Constitution, Current Affairs, English and Gujarati Comprehension (30 marks)
• Part-B (120 marks): Questions related to the concerned subject and its application
• Total Questions: 210 (Part-A: 90 questions, Part-B: 120 questions)
• Total Time: 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Qualifying Standard: Minimum 40% marks required separately in Part-A and Part-B for all categories
• Merit list will be prepared based on total marks/normalized marks obtained
• Candidates double the number of vacancies will be called for certificate verification based on merit
• Final selection list and waiting list will be prepared based on merit and category-wise vacancies
• Level of question paper will be equivalent to educational qualification
