GUJARAT PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (GPSC) Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification and other details: 

(b)(i) possess a bachelor's degree in obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and

 (ii) a degree in teaching or education obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grant Commissiom 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government.

(d) have at least five years combined or separate experience in teaching and / or administration in the field of education in the Government or Local bodies or University or private or public sector self finance, educational organisation or educational institution on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post of Assistant Teacher, Class III, in the Government Higher Secondary School or Assistant Teacher, Class III, in the Government Secondary School or Kelavani Nirikshak or Extention Officer (Education) or Additional District Education Inspector or Head Teacher in Primary Education Service after obtaining the degree in teaching or education as prescribed under sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of rule 3.

Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

GUJARAT PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (GPSC) Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/-+applicable postal charges or Rs. 100/- + Service Charges through online mode as Application Fees. While Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Unreserved category of Gujarat State, Ex-Servicemen and physically disabled candidates have not to pay application fees. While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fee.

Subject to number of Candidates registered in the Advertisement, the Candidates will have to fill the "Consent Form" to appear in the Preliminary Test and have to pay the prescribed fees as "Deposit" as decided by the Commission. Candidates who appear in the examination after paying the prescribed fee along with the consent form will be refunded this fee. This fee will be charged as a deposit only.

Unreserved(General) category Deposite Fee 500/- Rs

Reserved category means women candidates of all categories, socially and educationally backward classes, scheduled castes, scheduled Tribes, economically weaker sections, Physically disabled candidates and ex-servicemen. Deposite Fee 400/- Rs.

GUJARAT PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (GPSC) Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Exam Pattern: Candidates will be selected for appointment to these posts by conducting a Preliminary test and interview. Candidates will be declared eligible for the interview after scrutinizing the required applications as per the Preliminary test marks. If the candidate gets less than 15% marks in the Preliminary test, he/she will not be considered eligible for interview. The medium of this test will be decided by the Commission. The Preliminary test will usually be held at Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad and candidates will have to be present at their own expense. The Preliminary test will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks(60 minutes) of General Studies and 200 questions of 200 marks(120 minutes) of the Respective Subject.Total 300 questions of 300 marks..
