For Gynaecologist (Class-1):

·         M.D. (Gynaecology) / M.S. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) / DNB or Post-Graduate Diploma in Gynaecology from a recognized university.

·         Registered under Gujarat Medical Council Act, 1967 at the time of appointment.

For Paediatrician (Class-1):

·         M.D. (Paediatrics) / DNB or Post-Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics from a recognized institution.

·         Registration with the Gujarat Medical Council is mandatory.

For Medical Officer (Class-2):

·         M.B.B.S. from a recognized university under Central or State Act.

·         Basic computer knowledge (as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967).

·         Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
