Educational Qualification and other details: 

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2025):

Junior Statistical Officer:

1 Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;

Or Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II :

1 Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates should have studied the subject of Statistics at Degree Level in Part-I, Part-II and Part-III or in all the six semesters of three year degree course and not simply a paper in any part of the Degree or six semesters at degree level.

All other Posts:

1 Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification as on 01-08-2025.

Age Limit:

The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum age varies between 27 to 32 years, depending on the post. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules:

• OBC: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years

·         Level 7: ₹44,900 - ₹1,42,400

·         Level 6: ₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400

·         Level 5: ₹29,200 - ₹92,300

SSC CGL Vacancy 2025 Selection Process

The selection process includes four stages:

1.   Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Objective)

2.   Tier-II: Computer-Based Examination (Objective)

3.   Tier-III: Descriptive Paper (Pen & Paper Mode)

4.   Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test / Data Entry Skill Test / Document Verification

Candidates must qualify each tier to move to the next. Final selection will be based on cumulative performance in Tier-I and Tier-II exams and post preference.
