Age Limit:
The age limit for NPCIL Assistant Grade-1 Recruitment 2024 is 21-28 years. The crucial date for the calculation of the age limit is 25.6.2024. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

Application Fees:
A Non Refundable Application Fee of Rs. 100/- is chargeable only to Male applicants belonging to the General (UR), EWS, and OBC categories. Female applicants, applicants belonging to the SC/ ST category, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Dependents of Defence Personnel killed in Action (DODPKIA), and employees of NPCIL are exempted from payment of the application fee.

Selection process for the post of Assistant Grade-1 (HR/F&A/C&MM) in NPCIL consist three stages which are
1. Written exam
2. Typing test on pc
3. Computer proficiency test
Stage 1 (Written exam):
- Exam Mode: CBT/OMR-Based
- Duration: 1 hour
- Total Questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Maximum Marks: 150
- Question Types: MCQs with four answer choices
- Sections:
1. General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 25 questions
2. Computer Knowledge – 15 questions
3. English – 10 questions
- Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- Medium: English
Stage 2 (Typing test on pc):
- Exam Mode: CBT/OMR-Based
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Maximum Marks: 150
- Question Types: MCQs with four answer choices
- Sections:
1. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 questions
2. Critical Reasoning – 25 questions
- Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- Medium: English
Stage 3 (Computer proficiency test):
- Typewriting Test on PC:
· Duration: 10 minutes for typing, additional 5 minutes for formatting
· Total Marks: 10 marks for formatting
· Criteria: Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or Hindi
- Computer Proficiency Test:
· Duration: 30 minutes
· Total Marks: 100
· Sections:
1. Part I – MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) – 4 questions, 20 marks each
2. Part II – Email Management and Internet Surfing – 2 questions, 10 marks each
- Marking Scheme: Candidates with 50% and above marks will be declared as qualified.
