GPSC Preliminary Exam Date Changed for
34 Advertisements
The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has issued an
important announcement regarding the preliminary examination dates for 34
advertised posts. Originally, these examinations (General Studies) were
scheduled for Friday, August 01, 2026, from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM. However, due
to heavy rainfall experienced across the state and a severe to very severe
rainfall warning from the meteorological department, along with representations
from candidates, the commission has decided to postpone the exam. Aspirants are
advised to note that the revised preliminary examination will now take place on
Sunday, August 09, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All concerned candidates
are requested to take note of this change and adjust their preparation
accordingly. This revision aims to ensure the convenience and safety of all
candidates amidst the challenging weather conditions.
