GUJARAT SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD (GSSSB) Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification and other details: 

a. A degree in Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science (Mathematics/Statistics) or Bachelor of Arts (Statistics/Economics/Mathematics) obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Legislature in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government.

 b. Provided that a candidate who has appeared at a degree examination, the passing of which would render him educationally qualified for the Preliminary Examination, but the result of such examination is not declared, till the last date of filling of the application form as also the candidates who intend to appear at such qualifying examination shall also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary examinations.

c. All candidates who are declared qualified by the Board for appearing in the Main Examination shall be required to produce proof of passing the required examination along with their application for the Main Examination: Provided that a candidate who fails to produce proof of passing the required examination shall not be eligible for admission to the Main Examination.

(c) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat civil services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 ; and

(d) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

• First 5 Years: Rs. 26,000/- per month (Fixed Pay)
• After 5 Years: Upon satisfactory service completion, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in the pay scale of 7th Pay Commission Level-4: Rs. 25,500- Rs. 81,100

Accountant, Auditor/ Sub-Treasury Officer/ Superintendent, Class-3

• First 5 Years: Rs. 49,600/- per month (Fixed Pay)
• After 5 Years: Upon satisfactory service completion, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in the pay scale of 7th Pay Commission Level-7: Rs. 39,900 - Rs. 1,26,600

(1) The examination for this recruitment will be conducted in two phases. For the selection of candidates for the second phase main examination, the first phase preliminary examination will be conducted in objective MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type of competitive examination using CBRT / OMR (Computer Based Response Test / Optical Mark Recognition) method. The main examination of the candidates who qualify for the second phase main examination will consist of two papers of descriptive nature.
