The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC JE
Tier 2 answer key 2026 on 16 April 2026 on its official website at
www.ssc.gov.in for the CBT-2 examination conducted on 7th April 2026. A total
of 15,607 candidates from Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering
branches appeared for the SSC JE Phase-II exam. The provisional answer key has
been released by SSC to allow candidates to check their responses, evaluate
their performance, and raise objections.

released the answer key for candidates who appeared in the Tier 2 exam.
Candidates can check their marked responses through the provisional answer key,
estimate scores using the marking scheme, and raise objections by paying a
nominal fee within the given time. Separate answer key sets has been provided
respectively for Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. After reviewing
objections, SSC will release the final answer key to prepare the merit list.

The Staff
Selection Commission SSC has published the SSC JE Tier 2 answer key for the
Junior Engineer Paper on its official website. Candidates from different
branches can download their respective branch-wise answer keys by using their
registration number or roll number and password. It is available to candidates
who should download it and check their responses carefully and estimate their
score. If they find any mistakes, they can raise objections through the
objection window.

Paper-II of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2025 was conducted by the Commission on 07.04.2026 at different centres all over the country.
2. The Tentative Answer Key(s) along with Question Paper(s) cum Response Sheet(s) are now available, and the same can be accessed through the website of the Commission (i.e., https://ssc.gov.in). The candidates may log in by using their Registration Number and Password during the period specified below.
3. Candidates may note that in the challenge module, the sequence of the questions and the options may be different from how they appeared during the Examination. This is because in the challenge module, the sequence of the questions as well as the answers will be the same for all the candidates who appeared in a particular shift, whereas during the actual Examination, these sequences were different for different candidates. However, the answers selected by candidates during the Examination will be accurately reflected in the challenge module.
4. The representations/challenges against the Tentative Answer Keys, if any, may be submitted online from 16.04.2026 (06:00 PM) to 19.04.2026 (06:00 PM) on payment of INR 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) per question/answer challenged. Representations received after 06:00 PM on 19.04.2026 will not be entertained under any circumstances. Further, representations/challenges submitted in any other mode will not be entertained.
5. Candidates may note that the saved Question Paper will be strictly for personal use and self-analysis only. An undertaking to this effect has been included in the Challenge Management portal, which will be visible to the candidates when they log in to the same. Further, the candidates are advised to go through the detailed guidelines regarding the Challenge/ Objection Management System issued by the Commission vide notice dated 10.04.2026 on its website.
6. Tentative Answer Key(s)/ Response Sheet(s) will
not be available after the abovespecified time limit. Any individual request
for providing Response Sheet(s)/Tentative Answer Keys will not be entertained
in the future under any circumstances.

for the answer key or the latest notifications section on the homepage
- Click
on the link for the SSC JE Tier 2 answer key once it is available.
- Enter
registration number or roll number along with your password to log in
- After
logging in, your details and answer key will appear on the screen
- Choose
your respective branch, such as Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical, to view
the paper
- Download
the answer key and take a print or save it for reference
- Go
through your responses carefully and compare them with the official
answers to estimate your score
