1. Please apply only if you have essential minimum qualifications, fulfilling all the parameters. Trade/Degree Certificate should be from respective ITIs/ Technical Institutions recognized by State Board of Technical Education (SBTE)/ State or National Council for Vocational Training (GCVT/ NCVT). The Graduate candidates must possess qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory bodies like UGC/ AICTE etc.

2. Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning mode or Part time mode or Correspondence Mode shall not be considered. Only Full time Degree holder can be apply for the training.

3. The essential qualifications MUST be acquired in the year 2022 or later.

 4. The applicant should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training, in any organisation as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 as amended from time to time.

5. Candidates, who have undergone training or job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring the prescribed qualifications, shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as Apprentice.

 

OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 24 years, both calculated as on 15.05.2026. In other words, the date of birth of the candidate must fall between 15.05.2002 and 15.05.2008 (inclusive) for General category candidates. 

Concession & Relaxation:

I. Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) candidates.

II. Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years, up to 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.

OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Stipend & Benefits

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act during their period of engagement. ITI Trade Apprentices holding a trade certificate of two-year duration will receive Rs. 10,560/- per month. Graduate Apprentices holding B.Com / B.B.A. / Bachelor's degree in IT will receive Rs. 12,300/- per month.

OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

1. Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the merit drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a similar number in merit, a person with higher age would be considered. No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and may result in rejection of the candidature.

2. Reservation to various categories viz SC/ST/OBC/PwBD shall be given as per the government guidelines.

3. 20% of the seat of the total requirements to be kept reserved for applicants from Ambetha and Suva villages of Vagra Taluka who are meeting the published criteria. In case of receiving more applications from these villages, their selection will be based on merit as defined above and seat allocated for these villages shall not be increased. In other scenario of non-receiving sufficient applications from these villages, the vacant reserved seat shall be allotted to applicants (other than Ambetha/Suva) in the order of merit as defined above.

4. Medical Certificate of fitness for Apprenticeship Training in OPaL, shall be required to be submitted before joining the Apprenticeship Training from a Registered Medical Officer/ Practitioner giving complete name, address and registration number of the medical authority.

5. Candidates will be offered the apprenticeship in order of merit.

6. The list of documents and originals to be brought for verification shall be intimated to the selected candidates. The selected candidates will be intimated via their registered mail ID.
