The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board (GPRB) has released a crucial notification regarding the recruitment of Police Sub Inspector (PSI) and Lokrakshak Dal (LRD) under Advertisement No. GPRB/202526/1. On 31 December 2025, the board announced the status of applications that have been cancelled due to non-payment of fees, as well as details about merging separate applications for PSI and LRD candidates. 🚫 Cancellation of Applications (Non-Payment of Fees)

For candidates belonging to the General Category, paying the examination fee was mandatory. The board has identified candidates who confirmed their online application but failed to pay the fees within the time limit. Consequently, these applications have been cancelled.

What if you paid the fee but your name is on the list?
If your application has been cancelled despite having paid the fee, you have a chance to rectify this. You must visit the GPRB office in person with the following documents:

• Original Fee Payment Receipt.
• Necessary Proofs (Application printout, ID proof).

Submission Details:

• Deadline: 06/01/2026 (Monday) by 05:00 PM.
• Address: Gujarat Police Recruitment Board, Bungalow No. G-12, Opposite Sarita Udyan, Sector-9, Gandhinagar – 382007.

Note: Representations sent via post/courier or received after the deadline will NOT be considered.

🔄 Merging of PSI and LRD Applications

Many candidates applied separately for the PSI Cadre and LRD Cadre instead of selecting the “BOTH” option. To streamline the process and ensure you don’t have to appear for the Physical Test twice, the board has decided to merge these applications.

• Your applications for PSI and LRD have been combined for the purpose of the Physical Test.
• Call Letter Status: The Physical Test Call Letter will be issued on your PSI Confirmation Number.
• You will undergo the physical test only once, and the score will be valid for both cadres.

📑 Rules for Multiple/Duplicate Applications

If a candidate has submitted more than one application, the board has applied specific rules to determine which application remains valid and which ones are cancelled. Please refer to the table below to understand the logic:
