The District Social Security Office, Rajkot has announced recruitment for various posts. This recruitment will be on an 11-month contractual basis. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for the following posts.

Under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme implemented by the Government of India for the welfare and rehabilitation of children, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Gujarat State is inviting applications for the following positions at the district level under various child welfare structures, purely on a temporary contractual basis for 11 months.

Vacancy Details

1. District Child Protection Unit, Rajkot

  • Outreach Worker (ORW) – 1 Post

    • Qualification: 12th Pass from a recognized Board / Equivalent Board, Good Communication Skills, At least 1 year of experience with Govt./NGO. Preference for work-experienced candidates.

    • Age Limit: 21 to 40 years

    • Monthly Salary: ₹12,318/-

2. Children’s Home for Boys, Rajkot

  • House Father – 2 Posts

    • Qualification: Any Graduate, Minimum 1 year relevant experience

    • Age Limit: 25 to 40 years

    • Monthly Salary: ₹14,564/-

  • Art & Craft cum Music Teacher – 1 Post

    • Qualification: 3-Year Music Visharad Course / ATD / B.A in Music, At least 1 year relevant experience

    • Qualification: Graduate in Commerce / Mathematics from a recognized university, At least 1 year relevant experience

    • Qualification: 3-Year Music Visharad Course / ATD / B.A in Music, At least 1 year relevant experience

Eligible candidates must attend with a written application along with all educational qualification certificates, experience certificates, proof of birthdate, 2 passport-size photographs, and original & self-attested copies.

Important Instructions

  1. Work experience will be counted only after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification.

  2. Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM or not fulfilling eligibility criteria (qualification/experience) will not be considered for the interview.

  3. For vacancies at Children’s Home for Girls, Rajkot (Advertisement No. 3) – only female candidates will be considered.

  4. Age limit will be considered as of 03/10/2025.

  5. Final selection for these contractual posts will be subject to the decision of the District Recruitment Selection Committee, Rajkot.
