Educational Qualification and other details:

For Credit Officer Scale II-

The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a University/ Institute with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) marks aggregate in all years/semesters recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.
The candidates should have Professional Qualifications (Compulsory), any one MBA (Full-time) preferably in Banking/Finance / Banking and Finance / Marketing / Forex Credit from a University/Institute recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory Bodies /PGDBA/PGDBM/CA/CFA/ICWA/ Financial Risk Manager.

For Credit Officer Scale III-

The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a University / Institute with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) marks aggregate in all years/semesters recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.
The candidates should have Professional Qualifications (Compulsory), anyone MBA (Full-Time) preferably in Banking/Finance / Banking and Finance / Marketing / Forex / Credit from a University / Institute recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory Bodies /PGDBA/PGDBM/CA/CFA/ICWA/ Financial Risk Manager.

Experience of Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2023:

For Credit Officer Scale II-

The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as an officer and should be confirmed in service and not on contract in the processing of MSME / Mid and Large Corporate proposals in Public/Private/Foreign Banks/Financial Institutions.
The applicant must have experience in appraisal/assessment of Credit proposals of MSME/ Medium/Large Corporations and/or working as a Branch Head.

For Credit Officer Scale III-

The candidates should have at least 5 years post-qualification experience as an officer and should be confirmed in service and not on contract in the processing of MSME / Mid and Large Corporate proposals in Public/Private/ Foreign Banks/Financial Institutions.
The applicant must have experience in appraisal/assessment of Credit proposals of MSME/Medium/large Corporations and /or working as a Branch Head.

Age Limit:

· Minimum Age Limit: 25 Years

· Maximum Age Limit for Officers in Credit Scale-II: 32 Years

· Maximum Age Limit for Officers in Credit Scale-III: 35 Years

Selection Process

As mentioned in the Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2023 Notification PDF, candidates have to go through an online examination organized by the BOM. The selected candidates will be eligible for an interview round in the proportion of 1:4 as per their ranking. The allocation of marks for the online exam and interview will be 200 and 100 respectively, which is converted into 75:25.

Salary 2023

The Bank of Maharashtra has been delivering a compelling salary structure for its Credit Officer Scale II and Scale III positions. The pay scale will range from Rs. 48170/- to Rs.69810/- for Scale I.
