·         Candidate should have a desirable marine degree with minimum 25+ years of senior management position experience to deal with various ports & ships of mega size.

·         The monthly consolidated remuneration will be based on the previous/current remuneration. (Negotiable)

Selection Process

·         A Selection Committee will scrutinize the applications and short list the candidates based on merits. The short-listed candidates will be called for an Interview (TA will be given as applicable to GMDC’s employees) or be interviewed through Video Conferencing as decided by GMDC Ltd.

Job assigned/Job profile-

The Advisor will report to The Managing Director, GMDC.
He should have experience in the field of Port & Sea Logistic as follows-

·         Possess sound knowledge of port management including the concept /design/ project and operation of the port of mega size.

·         Possess sound knowledge of sea logistics including deep sea handling and all the allied equipments operations of the port. He should have good knowledge of cost economics of domestic as well as international sea freight & way to suggest the best model suitable for the company.

·         Having good exposure of solid & bulk material handling through sea including the operational aspects of varied size of ships and their cost economics on various sea conditions.

·         Should have experience of all required statutory clearances required from the various state and national level authorities related to sea and port logistics project/ operation.

·         Should have handled the green field sea port project of mega size and also having exposure of brown field expansion.
