Educational Qualification and other details:
Project Associate-I
M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Agronomy/ Biochemistry/ Botany
i. 31,000/- per month (consolidated) to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
ii. 25,000/- per month (consolidated) for others who don’t fall under (i) above.
Project Assistant
B.Sc in any plant sciences
Emoluments 20,000/-per month (consolidated)

Age Limit:
Project Associate-I
35 years as on the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Project Assistant
50 years as on the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Selection process: - selection will be based on a walk-in-interview.
How to Apply? :
All the candidates attending walk-in-interview/written test should bring one set of duly certified copies of all certificates along with originals and a passport size photograph along with them. The walk-in-interview/written test will be held on 10-10-2022 at 09:30 AM in CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Waghawadi Road, Bhavnagar Gujarat.
Final year appearing students are not eligible to attend the interview. Candidates must produce a copy of the provisional or degree certificate on the date of interview. The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project only. It would therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidates may be allotted their work place at either Bhavnagar or MARS Mandapam field station of CSIR-CSMCRI. Specific queries, if any, may be addressed to csmcrialgae@gmail.com.
