Educational Qualification and other details: 

A candidate shall have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from Secondary and / or Higher Secondary Education Board or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government

Provided that in the case of the post of Accounts Clerk, the candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with Mathematics or Accountancy as one of the subjects.

A candidate shall possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967; and Rule-3 (d) A candidate shall possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

 Age Limit not more than 36 years of age.

Pay Scale Rs. 19,950 /per month

GPSSB Panchayat Secretary Exam Scheme – Paper Pattern

GPSSB Examination Authority will conduct a competitive exam for Panchayat Secretary (Talati cum Mantri) posts. The exam will be held to check the basic intelligence of the candidate. The paper will comprise 100 multiple choice questions based on various subjects. The scheme of the examination will be as follows:

General Knowledge and General Awareness	50 Marks
Gujarati Language and Grammar Test	20 Marks
English Language and Grammar Test	20 Marks
Mathematics and Reasoning	10 Marks
Total	100

Aspirants must check the printed details properly. In case of an error, candidates must contact the exam authority properly. Apart from this, candidates are required to bring a photo identity proof along with the GPSSB Village Panchayat Secretary Call Letter print.
