SSC has successfully
held the Constable (General Duty/GD) Exam from 16 November to 15 December 2021
by Computer Based Test Mode. A large number of candidates who appeared for this
exam for various posts like Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security
Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Secretariat Security
Force and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles

Selection Commission conducted Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman
(GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2021 from 16.11.2021 to 15.12.2021 in the
Computer Based Mode. 2. Representations received from the candidates regarding
Tentative Answer Keys were carefully examined and Answer Keys were suitably
modified, wherever required, and finalized thereafter. The final Answer Keys
have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates in the Examination.
3. As per Corrigendum No. 3/1/2020-P&P-I dated 24.03.2022, following
cut-off marks (without adding bonus marks to NCC certificate holders) have been
applied to consider eligibility of candidates for short listing to the next
stage of examination i.e. PET/ PST: i. UR: 30% ii. OBC/ EWS: 25% iii. All other
categories (SC, ST, ESM): 20% 4. As per Para-11.1.5 of the Notice of
Examination, marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination have
been normalized by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice
No. 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019 and such normalized scores along with
the bonus marks for NCC Certificate holders have been used to determine final
merit and cut-off marks for short-listing of candidates for PET/ PST. 5. As per
para 13.3 of the Notice of the Examination, the candidates who have claimed in
their online application that they possess NCC Certificates have been granted
following incentive marks provisionally: a) NCC ‘C’ Certificate : 5 marks b)
NCC ‘B’ Certificate : 3 marks c) NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 2 marks As per Para-7.5.3
of the Notice of Examination, bonus marks have not been awarded to
Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Category-wise Cut-off details and number of candidates shortlisted against the
vacancies of General District Area, Border District Area and Naxal/ Militancy
Affected District Area are as follows: 7.1. Female: Cut-off details of female
candidates qualified against State/ UT-wise vacancies of Forces other than SSF
are as given in Annexure-I. 7.2 Male: Cut-off details of male candidates
qualified against State/ UT-wise vacancies of Forces other than SSF are as
given in Annexure-II. 8. As per the option exercised by the candidates in the
Online Application Form, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC category, on
migration from one State/ UT to another State/ UT have been considered in their
respective reserved category if they have chosen to take benefit of reservation
from the State/ UT of origin. Other-wise as per the option exercised by such
candidates, they have been considered as UR candidate from the State/ UT of
their domicile (Para-6.2 of the Notice). 9. RESOLUTION OF TIE CASES: In the
event of tie in scores of candidates in the Computer Based Examination
(including NCC bonus marks), such cases have been resolved by applying
following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is
resolved: (a) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination. (b) Marks in
Part-B of Computer Based Examination. (c) Date of Birth, with older candidates
placed higher. (d) Alphabetical order of names
